Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage, seeding and planting, increases the hopper capacity of the Spirit seed drills. For model year 2025, the hopper capacity of several models will be increased by over 25%, from 3900- to 5000 litres. This gives farmers the opportunity to increase their field efficiency as well as improve logistics.
Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage, seeding and planting, cooperates with the tractor manufacturer Valtra to conduct a field study on adapting the tillage intensity to local variations in the field. The new Väderstad TopDown with E-Services is key to the study, where the setting of the cultivator is adapted to the characteristics of the field using a prescription map.
Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage and seeding, has finished the construction of the expansion of the factory in Väderstad with an additional 12 600 square meters. During the second half of 2024 the new premises will be fully installed with a new paintwork station and additional assembly lines. The aim is for an annual production capacity of 10 000 machines in Väderstad.
