In the coming years, Väderstad will invest in a facility for production of laser cut metal parts. The facitily, which will produce metal parts for the full product range, represents an investment of 15.4 million euro. In addition to expanding the production capacity and further ensuring a very high machine quality, this investment is a statement of Väderstad’s positive look on the future.

The new seed sensor and treaded closing wheels for the Väderstad Tempo planter, offer extended possibilities regarding high precision planting of small seeded crops such as oil seed rape and sugar beets.

The Väderstad seed drill Spirit 600-900S enters a new phase in the beginning of 2017. A new fan system, optimized seed hopper, active coulter pressure and full control via the iPad-based control system Väderstad E-Control, are some of the prominent news. Thereby, the signature of Spirit – an impressive emergence over the entire field – stands stronger than ever before.

The new front-mounted fertilizer hopper, the FH 2200 enables high precision combi-drilling. The 2,200 litre hopper is equipped with an electric Fenix III metering system and is suitable for large capacity and high working speeds in the field.

The FH 2200 has been developed to handle fertiliser volumes of up to 250 kg/ha at a speed of 15 km/h.

The world record high-speed planter Väderstad Tempo, delivers an exceptional precision at very high speed. With new features, the planter is now able to enhance the results even further.

On April 11-12th, Väderstad set a new world record for most hectares planted within 24 hours. By having planted 1240.59 ares with high precision and an average speed over 20km/h, the high-speed planter Väderstad Tempo have proved its enormous capacity.

The new point option Väderstad 50/80 Marathon offers a great penetration force, a low draught requirement and impressive straw mixing. The Marathon feature multiplies its working life in the field by six times.

By enabling ISOBUS Task Controller, the communication between tractor terminals and Väderstad machinery is enhanced. This enables GPS-controlled variable rate and automatic section control.

Despite a challenging global machine market, Väderstad AB closes the financial year of 2016 with good results. With a strong start to the new year, the company looks brightly on the future.
